Certainly a big part of this is because of the lower fees overall. But just as importantly, are that when people are in midwifery care, they experience significantly lower numbers of costly interventions. Access to quality midwifery care is important to Peninsula Midwives. For this reason, I am in-network with select WA Apple Health plans as well as most many private insurance companies. For private insurance, I am in-network with a variety of plans. For both in-network and out-of-network, costs will vary depending on your deductible and coinsurance. Please consult with your insurance company or email by biller directly below regarding coverage details as this varies greatly from company to company as well as plan to plan.
